The Biggest Lesson I Learned From Being Single

Listen Now On: Spotify | Apple Podcasts

Do you grow more in relationship or when you’re single?

For those of you who have followed me for a while you know that to say I’ve experienced the relationship game would be somewhat of an understatement. I was in a 10 year relationship, very quickly moved into another relationship that lasted for about a year, spent some time single, then was at it again for a brief period. What can I say? I have enjoyed being in partnership, and have learned so much about myself from my partners. My own personal growth has definitely made it a little difficult at times to fully open and surrender to love, but as I’ve learned more about myself and what I truly want I’ve found it amazing to see where the lessons come from. Especially those that pertain to love and relationships.

Though I learned a LOT from my former partners, the partnerships themselves, and the transitions out of them, I want to share with you some of the things I’ve learned from my time being single. At this place in my life I find myself feeling more empowered, more aligned, and honestly more excited about life, and it’s something I don’t think I would be experiencing on the same level if I hadn’t made an agreement with myself to spend some intentional time in my life outside of partnership, sovereign, and single.
