Deep Dive Musings - Would You Let Your Friend Date Your Sister?

Would you let your friend date your sister?

My sister recently called me up and told me she’s developing feelings for a friend of mine. I was taken by surprise, but I told her what I believe and stand for in life, which is to follow your heart.

This experience made me reflect on why I was comfortable with my friend dating my sister and allowed me to recall other periods of my life when my friends were not people who lifted me up or who I’d want to date my sister.

In this episode ofThe Deep Dive with Adam Roa, I dive into integrity and how the people you surround yourself with determine how you’ll feel about yourself.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • How to build relationships based off of integrity
  • Why your self-esteem and self-love are reflections of the people closest to you
  • A useful way to assess if you love yourself

What kinds of people do you want in your life?

If you want to build a life where you can trust the people closest to you, then you need to embody that yourself. Whether it be with friends, family, business, or romantic relationships, it’s important to have standards for the people you surround yourself with.

Do you trust the people you’re closest to? Do your friends and family build you up or tear you down? If you feel like you have negative friends or people in your life that make you feel bad about yourself, you’ll want to listen to this episode.
