Do you pay attention to what your actions are telling you?

Did you know your unwanted behaviors can point to underlying emotions?

I recently had an experience that caused me to behave in a way that is not aligned with who I want to be. By noticing this and by questioning myself, I was able to uncover the loneliness that I was feeling.

 

In this episode ofThe Deep Dive with Adam Roa, I relay my own personal experience and a situation that I was able to use as a coaching moment for myself. I share about how my absentminded social media scrolling was really covering up my own discomfort.

It is through our awareness that we are able to make new choices. If we act out of unconscious habits, we never truly discover why we are making decisions that are out of alignment with what we want, such as partying too much, binge watching TV, absentmindedly scrolling through social media, etc.
