The world is changing rapidly. Technology has given us the ability to transmit ourselves and our ideas to the entire planet in an instant.
The Screen
And it seems that no matter what our religious beliefs, political philosophies, or biological differences, human beings love film. Moving imagery captivates us and takes us on an emotional journey that has the ability to change us at a deep level.
I believe that we take on the vibration of the things we see and a lot of the issues we are currently facing in the world are amplified by all the fear based media that dominates the airwaves. Content full of war, horror, police brutality, terrorism, drugs, and government conspiracies are being spread far and wide. We see this and develop a collective paranoia. Our neighbors can’t be trusted. Our government is out to get us. We struggle to feel safe. And when someone doesn’t feel safe, they live in a state of agitation, fight or flight, that clouds rational thinking and blocks our natural state of empathy in favor of self-preservation.
Everything I put out is intended to enlighten, expand, and entertain. It’s my intention to encode every word I speak with a frequency of love. It’s my hope that every frame of film I produce remind you that you are safe. And I am so grateful that video technology and social media have created opportunities to spread these messages to anyone who wants to hear them.
Storytellers are extremely valuable translators of the world and allow people the opportunity to project themselves into the experience being conveyed.
Filmmaking
Stories can teach us, inspire us, and most importantly, connect us. I believe one of my greatest gifts is my ability to find the story that connects people to conscious narratives and translate that story to film. Through this connection, we will be able to create massive change in the world.
I have been professionally involved in the film industry for over a decade on both sides of the camera. I have learned to contribute as an actor, writer, director, producer, and even as an editor. What I have learned is that each stage of the filmmaking process is an opportunity for a distortion to occur, diluting the frequency of the original idea. And when that original idea is about spreading love, every bit of dilution means less people will feel it. Learning how to take an idea and an intention and translate it into actual film while maintaining as much of the original frequency as possible is an art, and something that I love to do. It’s why I’m here.
